Kairos, Kimberley Immersion and Project Compassion

Project Compassion Fundraising

EACH Homeroom has a Project Compassion box in their homeroom. We ask that students make a contribution to this box to support the work  that Caritas Australia undertakes in  countries in the developing world. This is the official charity of the catholic church and Season of Lent  provides us with a great opportunity to reach out to our neighbours across the seas to support them.

Karios 33

LAST week the College held our 33rd Kairos retreat. Kairos is a Christian retreat program geared toward deepening one's faith, identity, relationships, and connection to God's role in our lives. This retreat is an opportunity to find meaning in the highs and lows of your life. Our senior students really embraced this opportunity away from the busyness of their daily lives and make the most of the ideas presented to them at the retreat.

We had four outstanding  student leaders for this retreat – Anissa Holmes, Jack Mills, Chanelle Min and Charlie McCrostie, who were great mentors and role models for their peers.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff who support our students -  Karen Magee, May Dao, Katelyn Godfrey, Roger D’Almeida, Simon Harvey, Sr Cecily and Megan Silva who were outstanding in their commitment, enthusiasm and participation in the retreat.
