Nicole, the Prémontré Captain and Liturgical Co-Captain, is never far from the action at St Norbert College - especially if it involves promoting blue.
Your favourite school memory?
The Kimberley Immersion was a big highlight. I love to travel, explore cultures and help others and the immersion ticked all of those boxes. It allowed me to experience something new that would have otherwise been impossible for me to do outside of St Norberts. The immersion was amazing in every possible way from creating a "family" of sorts with the other students and teachers, as well as, being able to help out in the community in a face-to-face way through helping out at places like St Joseph's and the community kitchen.
What are you most thankful for?
I'm most thankful for my parents - they've always been supportive of everything I do including school, hobbies and work. They've helped me in growing to be a good person having always taught me to be kind and respectful but also have a good time. They taught me having a good life balance is important and allowed for me to go out and be social.
Special mention to my mum for teaching me how to save money and the importance of such because now I'm not broke.
One piece of advice for other students?
I've always said to give everything a try. If there's any new opportunities, take it, and give it your best shot, it may come in handy in the future. Also if you want to do well in anything, stay consistent and stay winning.
Fellow student most likely to be famous . . ?
Sharie, like she's literally amazing and already a youtuber. Also Sharie would be one of the people I'd want to famous, because she's such a good role model.
Most influential teacher . . ?
Mrs Barrow. Year 11 Lit in Semester 1 was the best class. We were her favourites for a reason.
Most inspiring St Norbert College student . . ?
Although she's now graduated, Tegan Reder was a great inspiration. I was her partner once in Year 7 when we sang in Oliver together, and we'd always joke around. She was always kind which I've always admired along with her incredible swimming career having meant to have gone to the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
