Grade 4

As part of our novel study ‘The Lemonade War’ the grade 4 students made their own home made lemonade. A novel taste sensation for many. Here are some of the students thoughts below.

“The lemonade was quite sour but really good, I even ate some raw lemon without putting it in my drink” - Pippi

“It was very sweet and nice but it was even sweeter because everyone was there. I had a great time making the lemonade” – Jessica

“The lemonade was pretty good. It wasn’t fizzy and it made my stomach hurt, but it was still very delicious” – Archie

“It was good because it was sour!” – Zara

“We cut up lemons and squeezed them into a cup. Then we added water and sugar. It was very sour but also very sweet” – Ebony
