Secondary Students Brew Up Skills in Café Experience

 

Our Secondary students recently had the opportunity to run a student-led café under the guidance of Mrs Deighton. Designed to build barista and hospitality skills, students learned how to make coffees and hot chocolates, as well as follow food handling and hygiene procedures.

 

As a special thank you to the students who hosted the pop-up cafe for staff - complete with freshly brewed drinks and handmade biscuits. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that blended practical skills with service and teamwork.
