Why Are Staff Wearing Jeans on Fridays? Supporting Our Community, One Pair at a Time!

You may have noticed a few more jeans around campus lately and no, it’s not just a fashion trend! Our much-loved "Jeans Friday" are here for Term 3, and there’s a purpose behind the denim.

Each Friday this term, staff members are encouraged to wear jeans and make a donation in support of Carevan Wagga, a local charity doing vital work to combat food insecurity. Carevan provides warm, nutritious meals to individuals and families in need across our community, and we’re proud to help make a difference.

At the end of the term, all funds will be used to purchase food supplies, which will be donated to Carevan Wagga to support their meal preparation efforts.

Participation is completely optional, but we’re hoping to see plenty of staff getting involved and showing how small, simple actions can create a meaningful impact.

So, if you see your teachers in jeans this term, know that it’s more than just a casual Friday it’s a show of support for our community.
