The College has received some exciting news about recent Old Boys, Ethan White (Class of 2023) and Finn Slade (Class of 2025) and their future career aspirations.
Ethan has been studying maritime engineering (specialising in naval architecture) at the Australian Maritime College (AMC) in Launceston and has been awarded one of four scholarships offered globally by the Lürssen Foundation. It's the first time an Australian has been accepted into the program.
The scholarship will allow Ethan to travel to Croatia and Germany and visit the shipyards where Lürssen Yachts build their superyachts. He'll attend a summer school at the University of Connecticut beforehand.

From July, Finn Slade will start a three- month contract with the Zappi U23 Road Cycling Team based in Riolo Terme, Italy. Founded by ex-professional cyclist Flavio Zappi in 2009, the Zappi Racing Team offers young riders the coaching support, race calendar and pathways towards professional cycling. Finn hopes participating in cycling races across Italy will earn him an extended contract for racing again with the team in 2027.

The College wishes Ethan and Finn all the best as they pursue their dreams.
Saints Old Boy Zac Tabuai and five-time Olympic gold medalist Kaylee McKeown joined Saints Swimming for a special club night.
They generously volunteered their time, starting with a 45-minute Q&A with our senior squad, before jumping in for a skills session with 60 swimmers – finishing with some exciting skills races.
An incredible experience learning from the best!
