Seeking assistant supervisors for GAT exam

This is a paid position with supervisors employed by VCAA to work at SCHS ensuring fair administration of VCE examinations in line with the rules set out by the VCAA examinations administrations unit.

Supervisors will also be involved in the setup of exams and packing up of paper at the end, so will be required at school from 7.00am to 4pm.

GAT Exam Day Details

Tuesday 16th June 2026,  9.00am- 11:15am Section A and 1.15pm – 3.00pm Section B (time to be confirmed).  

We may also require the supervisors to be available for exams later in the year on the following dates.

CCAFL examinations Thursday 15th October 2026

Main examination period Monday 26th October 2026 to Wednesday 18th November 2026

The role is largely administrative and involves working under the direction of the chief supervisor to ensure each student gets the correct examination, monitoring students sitting examinations and collating and packaging student responses at the end of the examination.  

Anyone interested must hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and must meet the VCAA requirements for supervisors as shown below.

·         Statutory Declaration form which will need to be completed and certified

·         Supervisors must not have a close relationship with any unit 3/4 student at SCHS (i.e., family member or close family friend).

·         Supervisors cannot be teaching or tutoring any VCE student at any school.
