The garden is transforming beautifully with all the wonderful rain we have been having! I love this time of year, each week brings dramatic changes and there’s a long list of plants ready to go into the ground. Students have been busy planting salvias to attract pollinators, mulching, and adding sunflowers and tomatoes to our garden beds. They also harvested broad beans, soft leaved herbs, lemons, saltbush (which was added to the island fried scones recipe), rhubarb, and spring onions to create the delicious recipes shared below.

Despite the dreadful weather last Friday, nothing could dampen the spirits of the Inspire Kitchen Garden students! They couldn’t stop talking about the delicious tacos they made, filled with fresh spinach, borage flowers, and fragrant herbs straight from the garden. A true garden to plate success!
