Team Kids

This Week at TeamKids
Last week at TeamKids we had lots of fun celebrating World Wildlife Week with the children! Across the week we explored different activities that helped us learn more about animals and the natural environment, from wildlife colouring and creative activities to conversations about endangered species and how we can care for the world around us. The children loved sharing their favourite animals and thinking about ways we can protect wildlife in our everyday lives.
A very special thank you to Claire, one of our wonderful parents, who kindly brought in a collection of endangered animal badges from Melbourne Zoo for the children. These were such a thoughtful contribution and the children were so excited to choose their badges and wear them proudly throughout the session. It sparked lots of great conversations about animals and conservation, and was a lovely way for our OSHC community to come together around such an important topic.
As always, our program continues to be shaped by the children’s interests, with a great mix of active games, creative experiences, and club activities happening each week. With the end of term slowly approaching, we’re also starting to hear some whispers about one of the children’s favourite holidays coming up… keep an eye out for more information about our Golden Easter Egg Hunt coming soon! 🐣✨
