Loving God,

During this special time of Lent,

we come to You with open hearts.

We are sorry for the times we have made wrong choices,

hurt others, or forgotten to love as You ask us to.

Help us to be more like Jesus Christ —

kind, forgiving, patient, and brave.

Teach us to say sorry when we need to,

to forgive our friends quickly,

and to show love in the little things we do each day.

Thank You for always loving us, always listening to us,

and always giving us a fresh start.

Amen.

Caritas Australia

Throughout the season of Lent, Caritas Australia leads Project Compassion, inviting us to put our faith into action. Through this important campaign, Caritas supports vulnerable communities both in Australia and around the world by improving access to education, clean water, healthcare and sustainable livelihoods. These initiatives empower individuals and families to build brighter futures and break the cycle of poverty with dignity and hope.

Thank you to the families who have already returned their Project Compassion money boxes — your generosity is truly appreciated. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of others.

Reconciliation family faith night.

Thank you to all our families who attended the Reconciliation Family Faith Night last Wednesday evening. It was wonderful to see so many members of our school community come together to deepen their understanding of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The evening provided a meaningful opportunity for parents and children to explore the true significance of reconciliation in our lives, not only as a sacrament, but as a way of having  a  relationship with God and with one another. Through prayer, discussion and shared reflection, families were invited to consider how forgiveness, healing and new beginnings are at the heart of our faith journey.

It was a very informative and reflective evening, and we are grateful to everyone who made the time to attend and support their child’s faith development.
