Book Week 2025 - A Huge Success at Mickleham Secondary College!

Book Week at Mickleham Secondary College was a fantastic celebration of reading, creativity, and community spirit. Every recess was buzzing with activities, from bookmark and book cover competitions to fun challenges, with plenty of prizes awarded to students who showed off their imagination and talent.

The biggest highlight was Book Week Dress-Up Day on Thursday. The school came alive with colour as students arrived dressed as their favourite book characters. Congratulations to our prize winners:

• 1st Place: Inaya Atif (9A)

   

• 2nd Place: Mariam Abed (8A)

   

• 3rd Place: Agamdeep Singh Mander (8C)

   

Teachers also joined the fun, with Kerry Turpie crowned Best Dressed and proudly receiving the Mickleham Secondary College Book Week Best Dressed Trophy.

A big thank you to all the students and staff who participated with such enthusiasm. Book Week 2025 truly highlighted the joy of reading and brought our school community together.
