Celebrating Creativity: Primary and High School Showcase

What an incredible evening it was to celebrate the creativity, talent and dedication of our students at our Primary and High School Showcase!

With an amazing 900 people in attendance, the Showcase was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and experience the outstanding work being created by our students across CAPA and TAS. The energy, enthusiasm and pride throughout the evenings was inspiring.

I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and appreciation to Andrew Faga and the entire CAPA team for organising such an outstanding array of performances across the two combined evenings. The program showcased the remarkable breadth of talent within our school, with students sharing their skills through music, performance, visual arts and our amazing school band. The quality and diversity of the performances made both evenings a memorable celebration of the arts.

Our TAS team also deserves recognition for the student work on display. The creativity, craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail evident in the TAS pieces were a wonderful reflection of the learning taking place in our classrooms and workshops.

It was equally special to see the involvement of our Primary schools. The enthusiasm and talent of our primary students were incredible, and their contribution added such a wonderful dimension to the Showcase. Seeing our younger students performing and sharing their creative work alongside our High School students was a fantastic celebration of the strength and connections across our school community.

Events such as this do not happen without an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. To our CAPA and TAS staff, our Primary colleagues, performers, artists, teachers, support staff and everyone who contributed to making the evenings such a success.

Most importantly, congratulations to our students. You should be incredibly proud of what you achieved. Your confidence, creativity, commitment and willingness to share your talents with our community made the Showcase a truly special event.
