Awards Night 2

Claudia Johnson
Assistant Principal
The BSC Awards Night on Thursday 27 November was attended by parents, carers and award-winning students from Year 7 through to Year 11. Students were thrilled, parents and carers were proud and our staff in attendance were delighted to recognise our most outstanding young people.
The awards event provides the opportunity for the school to acknowledge and celebrate our BSC values - Respect, Responsibility, Excellence, Achievement, Persistence, Teamwork - as well as student contributions to the school. contributions to the community, and academic excellence in every learning area.
The award recipients are listed in the Honour Roll showcase that many students who embrace opportunities are successful academically and beyond.

BSC Academic Awards
Heads of Learning lead the learning area teams to moderate student achievement and to nominate one student for each year level who has displayed outstanding results in this learning area.
A heartfelt congratulations to students who received an award this week - it is well deserved, a testament to their commitment and character, and a source of pride for themselves, their teachers , their families and friends who support them.
A big thank you to our Heads of Learning who review the nominations and decide on the recipients - a difficult task considering the talent among our student community, and to the Food studies staff and student volunteers who catered and served a sensational supper at the event - Abigail Aronson, Isabella Carr, Kennedy Fairbanks and Emma Seligman.
