Basketball Academy Tournament

The BSC Basketball Academy recently travelled to the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) to take part in the second Chase Academies Tournament for the year. The event brought together talented student-athletes from Academy programs across Victoria, offering an exciting platform for competition, growth, and connection through sport.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase the skills, teamwork, and determination they’ve been developing since the Term 2 tournament. From the opening tip-off, the BSC teams played with energy, confidence, and sportsmanship, embodying the values of the Academy both on and off the court.

Across the day, our players faced strong opposition, engaging in fast-paced, hard-fought games. The teams came away with a couple of impressive wins and several close contests that highlighted just how far they’ve progressed this year. Coaches and staff were particularly proud of the athletes’ resilience, communication, and ability to adapt under pressure.
