Exploring Future Pathways

This week, our Year 9 students took part in their Morrisby Interviews, an important step in exploring their future career and study pathways.

The Morrisby Program helps students discover their individual strengths, interests, and aptitudes through an online assessment. The follow-up interviews provide a valuable opportunity for each student to sit down with a trained career practitioner and discuss their personalised results in more detail.

During these one-on-one sessions, students reflected on their unique skills and preferences, explored possible career options, and considered how their current subject choices can support their long-term goals. The conversations encouraged students to think about who they are, what motivates them, and how they can begin shaping their future pathways with confidence and purpose.

These interviews form an important foundation for future subject selection and career planning throughout the senior years of schooling. It’s been inspiring to see so many Year 9 students approach this process with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an open mind about the opportunities that lie ahead.
