Facilities update

Accessible Building works have begun with larger project works to be in full swing from Monday 12 May. We will continue to work closely with the building contractor, John Lyngs Group, to ensure minimal disruption to classes. Demolition work will take place outside of class times and on the weekends. 

Key works to be carried out over the coming 8-10 weeks include large scale ramp installation into the Music and Performing Arts Centre, Hall, Year 10 lockers, and entry/exit points from Level 2. Exclusion zones will be set up to prevent students entering construction areas. 

Recently completed works have included the levelling of asphalt to access reception and first aid, levelling of asphalt to access the Middleborough Rd basketball court, installation of wheelchair accessible water bubblers, and the decking of the Level 2 balcony which has now enabled wheelchair access into art rooms 204 and 205.
