English Masterclass 2 

The second English Masterclass for the year took place on Thursday 27 March and this was facilitated by Mr Dobson.  

Mr Dobson talked about the lessons he has learned through the process of writing half a dozen novels over as many years. He explored the use of specific tools and lessons for writing as well as the process of self-publishing.  

English Masterclass 3 

The third English Masterclass took place on Thursday 8 May in the library, facilitated by Miss Collins and Mrs Wilkins. 

During this session, students explored stories from a range of genres including crime and mystery, historical fiction, fantasy and science fiction. Mrs Wilkins used her experience as a legal studies teacher to explore the psychology behind crime stories and reasons people may be interested in these types of stories.
