At assemblies this term, all students were reminded of the ways to access support from school – through talking to a parent, a coordinator or visiting us in the wellbeing hub.
We also explored how to help a friend during a tough time. The following advice was shared with each cohort:
Approach your friend with care and let them know you're there to listen and support them.
Encourage them to talk to a trusted adult, like a parent, teacher, or wellbeing team, who can help them get the support they need.
You don't have to solve their problems, but being there to listen and show that you care can make a big difference.
