Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge is now open, and we are excited to once again be taking part!
This year’s Challenge theme is “Stories to discover. Stories to tell.” Stories can inspire and challenge us, help us grow and open our eyes to new worlds and new ways of thinking.
All GRPS students have been provided with a login and password (please see your child’s classroom teacher if these details are misplaced).
During the Challenge, students are encouraged to read a set number of books appropriate to their year level:
- Prep to Year 2: Read 30 books, with 20 or more from the Challenge book list
Year 3 to Year 9: Read 15 books, with 10 or more from the Challenge book list
To login, please visit:Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge Login
Click on VPRC Login and enter your child’s username and password.
All students who successfully complete the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers.
At each Assembly, we will provide updates on our school’s progress and celebrate individual students who demonstrate a strong love of reading. So far, GRPS students have read 1528 books. This fortnight we celebrate: Hayden from 3C for reading 61 books and Orla Gregory from 1A for reading 58 books.
We encourage all students to participate and enjoy discovering new stories throughout the Challenge!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me, Challenge Coordinator at sharon.jacobs@education.vic.gov.au with any questions.
