Year 6 Highlight

The Year 6 students were so excited to begin their first Buddies session earlier this term! They should feel incredibly proud of the maturity, care and compassion they showed towards the youngest members of our school community. It has been heartwarming to see so many Year 6 students checking in on their buddies in the yard and eagerly looking forward to their time together each week.

It was evident that our Year 6s truly stepped into their roles as leaders. They modelled the St Joseph’s dispositions and expectations with confidence, demonstrating patience, kindness, responsibility and genuine care. The way they encouraged, supported and looked after their Prep Buddies was a wonderful reflection of who they are.

We are looking forward to a year filled with leadership, connection and meaningful relationships as our Year 6 students continue to guide and support their Prep Buddies.
