Book Week
📚What a wonderful Book Week we had at GRPS!
Our school was filled with a love of books, reading, creativity and imagination throughout the week. Students and staff embraced the Book Week spirit through a range of exciting activities, from finding cosy places to read and creating incredible book-inspired door displays to dressing up as their favourite characters for our much-loved Book Parade.
It was wonderful to see our whole school community come together to celebrate the joy of reading and the many wonderful stories that inspire us.
Reading in Cosy Places
Our students got into the Book Week spirit by finding their favourite 'cosy places to read' We loved seeing students curl up with a good book and share their reading moments with us. It was wonderful to see the creativity students used to find the perfect spot to enjoy their favourite books! The display will be outside the Library until the end of term if you haven't seen it already.
🚪 Book Door Displays
Our classes were busy creating their favourite Book Door Displays, and they looked incredible! If you were around the school, you would have seen all of the amazing doors showcasing so much creativity, imagination and teamwork.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and we loved seeing the effort that went into each and every display.

Wow! What an incredible Book Week Parade we had at GRPS!
The costumes were absolutely outstanding, showcasing so much creativity, imagination and effort. From amazing DIY creations to fantastic group costumes and individual efforts, our students truly brought their favourite book characters to life!
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families who came along to enjoy the parade and helped make the day so magical. It was fantastic to see our school community come together to celebrate our love of books and reading.
