Bonjour!

Le changement ( change)  is this term's topic in French. 

Grade 5-6 are learning "Quel temps fait-il? (What's the weather like?) by listening to songs by Alain Le Lait "Quel temps fait-il aujourd'hui?"and Grade 3-4 the song  Parapluie (both on Youtube)

Students are encouraged to listen to the song to memorise authentic pronunciation and recall of vocabulary. They have used google Translate and teacher assistance to translate the vocabulary.

They have recorded themselves saying the words of the song and posted their written work on Seesaw.

Foudation, Grade 1and 2 have learned songs and vocabulary based on days of the week and months. "Les jours de la semaine" and "Les mois de l'annee".

Students are creating posters with weather, days, months and seasons to consolidate vocabualry and create visuals for the French gallery.
