VCE OED CAMP

Our recent outdoor education camp offered a mix of thrilling activities and stunning natural settings that made for an unforgettable experience.

Cross-Country Skiing at Mount Baw Baw:

We started our adventure at Mount Baw Baw, where we took on the challenge of cross-country skiing. The snow-covered trails offered a perfect backdrop as we glided through the alpine environment. It was a rewarding test of our endurance and coordination, with moments of awe as we paused to take in the breathtaking winter landscape.

Caving:

One of the most exhilarating experiences was caving. Armed with helmets and headlamps, we delved into underground passages, discovering the hidden beauty of rock formations that have been sculpted over millennia. The exploration pushed us out of our comfort zones, but it was incredibly rewarding to navigate the twists and turns of the cave.

Canoeing:

We also had the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful moments on the water with a canoeing adventure. Paddling through calm waters, we soaked in the serene surroundings and enjoyed the company of friends. It was a perfect balance to the more physically demanding activities, offering a chance to relax and reflect on the natural beauty around us.

Each activity added its own unique flavour to the camp, creating a well-rounded outdoor experience that combined excitement, discovery, and relaxation.
