IB MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

On Wednesday 21st of August, both IB classes, Y11 and Y12, went on an excursion to the Melbourne International Film Festival in Melbourne city. Students enjoyed a full day experiencing the Spanish culture, food and cinema.

Before the movie, students had a delicious Mexican lunch in a Latina American restaurant. After that, we all headed to ACMI to watch the Argentinian movie ‘Alemania’. The movie was in Spanish and students had the opportunity to practice their listening skills while watching the movie.

It was a great experience both classes which have been studying Spanish as part of the IB program.
