2025/2026 School Council
School councils play a vital role in Victorian government schools and are established and operate under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic), the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017 (Vic) and a constituting Order.
School Council is Brunswick Secondary College’s major governing body.
The Brunswick Secondary College School Council comprises of
- 6 (six) parent/carer members
- 5 (four) Department of Education staff members
- 2 (two) student members and
- 4 (four) community members
We take this opportunity to thank Elizabeth Walkley, Harrison Lalor and Tameka Brown, all of whom have departed School Council at end of tenure. Their contribution to School Council over past year(s) has been highly valued and greatly appreciated.
Following nominations and completing due process, we now announce the members of the 2025/2026 School Council as per below.
