Instrumental Music

We have had a huge semester in music.  Our musicians have been so busy this Term with the Investiture Ceremony, our special visit to the Conservatorium of Music to participate in the Griffith Conductor Workshop and tour of the Conservatorium as well as ANZAC Day Ceremony, Toogoolawah State High Open Day, Battle of the Bands, FANFARE festival and the Toogoolawah Show.  Congrats to our Concert Band for winning the Concert Band section of Battle of the Bands and to our Clarinet trio for bringing home the trophy for best small ensemble.  Our Year 7’s have done a super job getting up to speed with our hard music and Year 7 and 8 music extension have really levelled up on their curriculum levels this semester.  There are some outstanding musicians in our music family with many on Curriculum Level 5 already and two of our musicians doing Level 7.  Level 10 is pro level.

Thank you to all our parents for supporting our band kids with all the events and forms and a special thank you to Miss Graham for all the work it takes to make an event happen and for outstanding curriculum expertise.  Thank you to admin for all the organisational work for our events and to teachers for supporting Instrumental Music so much.
