Seussical Jr.

After six months of hard work and dedication from an amazing group of people, our journey culminated in four wonderful performances of Seussical Jr.

Throughout the rehearsal process, the cast and crew brought incredible energy, enthusiasm and commitment to every practice, dance and song. I am immensely proud of everyone involved in the production and all that they achieved together.

The performances were met with enthusiastic praise and kind words from our community, staff, families, and friends. One particularly special moment was receiving a thank-you card from a four-year-old audience member who loves Dr. Seuss and attended the show twice. We were also delighted to welcome former students who had performed in the same production years ago. It was wonderful to see them reminisce about their time on stage and share in the excitement of this year's performances.

A production of this scale relies on the contributions of many people behind the scenes. From music and lighting to set design and construction, sourcing props and costumes, and supporting rehearsals, countless individuals helped bring the world of Seussical Jr. to life.

To the staff who generously gave their time and support throughout the rehearsal period, thank you. Your dedication and encouragement made these performances possible.

To the parents and carers of our cast and crew, thank you for your ongoing support and for ensuring students could attend rehearsals and performances. Your commitment played a vital role in the success of the show.

A special thank you to Ms Deer, Mrs Lovelock, Miss Vicki, Mrs Gibson, Miss Stevenson, Ms Hudd, Mr Walsh, Mrs Sabine, Mr Lipp, and our wonderful cleaning staff. We could not have delivered such incredible performances without your support, hard work, and dedication.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Seussical Jr. such a memorable and successful production.

I look forward to creating a team of students and staff, full of creativity and dedication to our next musical in 2028.

Signing off, with love of the Arts at Toogoolawah State High School,

Jacinta Driscoll
