Congratulations to our Toogoolawah State High School Cattle Show Team who represented the school with pride at the Toogoolawah Show over the weekend.

Friday night saw students compete in the Junior Judging competitions for both Prime and Stud Cattle. Isaac had an outstanding performance, placing 2nd and 3rd and taking home the title of Highest Scoring Local Competitor in both competitions. Blake also impressed, placing 3rd in Stud Judging.

On Saturday, the focus turned to the cattle classes. Ford placed 3rd, Georgie achieved 4th, and Esmay earned 3rd place in their respective classes. Our cattle also combined well to place 2nd in the Breeders Group, showcasing the quality of the animals and the hard work that goes into preparing them.

The weekend concluded with the Paraders competition, where all students represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating excellent stock handling skills, confidence and professionalism in the ring.

A huge thank you to our students for their dedication and to our families for their ongoing support. We'd also like to acknowledge Ms Brough, Sterlo and Ms Lynch for giving up their weekend to support our students and ensure the team was prepared and ready to compete.

Thank you also to Toogoolawah State High School and our P&C for their continued support of the program and for ensuring our team was well fed throughout the weekend. Your support plays a significant role in making these opportunities possible for our students.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students conduct themselves and represent our school and community. Well done to everyone involved on another successful show weekend!

Success in the Horticulture Section!

It wasn't just our livestock students finding success at the Toogoolawah Show, with our Year 9 and 10 Agriculture students also achieving excellent results in the horticulture section.

Students entered a variety of vegetables grown as part of their Agriculture studies and were rewarded for their hard work with numerous prizes and placings across several categories. Their success is a testament to the care, effort and attention they have put into preparing and maintaining the school's vegetable production areas throughout the year.

Congratulations to all students involved. It is fantastic to see their skills and dedication recognised, and we look forward to building on this success in future shows.
