Foundation News

As we come to the end of Term 1, we would like to take a moment to celebrate what has been a wonderful beginning to school life for our Foundation students.

This term has been all about settling in, and we are so proud of how confidently the children have embraced new routines and expectations. From morning drop-offs to classroom learning, play times and going home at the end of the day, the students have shown growing independence and a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

It has been a joy to see their engagement in learning develop across the term. The children have worked hard to listen, try new things, ask questions and participate enthusiastically in classroom activities. They are building positive learning habits, learning to work with others and showing curiosity and excitement in their learning each day.

We would like to thank families for their support throughout the term. Your encouragement at home plays a vital role in helping the children feel confident, settled and ready to learn.

We are incredibly proud of how far our Foundation students have come and we look forward to continuing this learning journey together in Term 2.

During the Easter break we encourage students to continue to enjoy picture stories books and practising their sounds from their reading diaries; m, s, a, t, p, i
