Grade 6 News

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to congratulate our students on their fantastic attitude, effort and enthusiasm for learning. It has been a joy to watch them grow in confidence, independence and creativity across all areas of their learning.

This week, students have been working hard to publish their final fables. They have shown great imagination and care in crafting their stories, applying the writing skills they have developed throughout the term. We are very proud of the effort they have put into editing and presenting their finished pieces.

In Mathematics, students have been consolidating their understanding of the Order of Operations, demonstrating strong problem‑solving skills and resilience when tackling challenging number tasks. Their willingness to explain their thinking and support one another has been particularly pleasing to see.

In Religion, our learning has focused on the Easter story, where students have reflected on its meaning and importance. Through discussion, activities and prayer, they have engaged thoughtfully with themes of love, sacrifice and hope.

Thank you to all students for a terrific term of learning. Their positive attitudes and commitment have made our classrooms a wonderful place to be each day.
