Our Intervention Centre

Supporting Student Wellbeing
We are excited to share with our school community the Intervention Centre. A dedicated space designed to support our students in managing their emotions and behaviours. The Centre offers a calming environment where students are empowered to practise self-regulation, and where staff are available to guide co-regulation strategies.
Our Intervention Centre is open to all students who may need a break from the bustle of classrooms. The space is equipped with sensory tools, comfortable seating, and quiet zones that encourage students to pause, reflect, and regain control in moments of stress or overwhelm.
Students can choose to use the Centre independently or with the support of an adult for co-regulation. This means students can learn techniques to calm themselves, such as breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, or simply having time to talk through their feelings. For those who need additional support, staff are present to model positive coping strategies and help guide students back to readiness for learning.
We believe that every student benefits from learning how to manage emotions and behaviour. The Intervention Centre not only helps students in moments of challenge, but also equips them with lifelong skills that promote wellbeing, resilience, and academic success.
