Principals Message

As we wrap up Term 1 2026, I would like to thank all members of the school community for a fantastic start to the year. It has been a busy and rewarding term filled with a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities.

Our Stage 6 students have shown great dedication and focus during their exams, demonstrating the hard work and commitment that defines our school. Beyond academics, our students have shone brightly in sports, participating enthusiastically in everything from basketball to soccer. We have also enjoyed competitive spirit and teamwork in table tennis and chess, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for all interests. Our Angora goats have shone at recent shows, and we wish the students the best of luck at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Looking ahead, Term 2 promises to be just as busy and productive, with many exciting opportunities on the horizon.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind all staff about the importance of respecting the “right to disconnect.” Staff are not expected to respond to emails or messages outside of reasonable work hours. We trust that any necessary responses will be made within a reasonable timeframe during work hours. For parents and families, please remember to contact staff only through official school channels—either by calling the school office or via school email addresses. Please avoid using personal phone numbers or personal email addresses to communicate with staff, to maintain professional boundaries and protect everyone’s privacy.

For the first four weeks of Term 2, I will be on leave. Mrs Driscoll will be stepping in as relieving Principal. Ms Golding will take on the role of relieving Deputy Principal, and Mr Lea will be relieving Head Teacher HSIE/CAPA/Languages.

Thank you once again for your support and commitment throughout Term 1. I wish everyone a safe and restful break and look forward to an exciting Term 2.

Ms Tania Maddison

Principal
