Middle Upper Primary Swimming Program
Heatherton Christian College
Our Grade 3–6 students recently took part in swimming lessons during Weeks 3 and 4, where they built their confidence and further developed their swimming skills. During the program, they practised strokes such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, while improving their breathing and coordination.
Students also learned important water safety skills, including floating, treading water, and safe entries and exits. To celebrate their hard work and progress, the program concluded with a fun day where students enjoyed time on a large inflatable and in the wave pool, an exciting and memorable experience for all!
