Last week, our Year 7 and 8 students attended camp at The Summit, centred around the theme Stronger Together.

It was incredibly heart-warming to witness our students and staff working together to achieve great outcomes through the many activities on camp. Whether it was the Leap of Faith, Giant Swing, Abseiling, or the famed Monster Run, there was one common thread that helped our students reach their goals - the encouragement and support of both their peers and CCK staff.

The belief and encouragement of others played a crucial role in helping our students - your children - step outside their comfort zones and accomplish things they may not have thought possible.

However, this is not something we see only on camp. Every day in our classrooms at CCK, students are encouraged by our staff to believe in themselves and strive for outcomes beyond what they may think they may be capable of achieving.

More importantly, our students are continually encouraged to believe in who God says they are.

What a special place we have here at CCK, where the most important thing truly remains the most important thing.

As we head into the second half of the term, may you be encouraged knowing that your child is part of a college where they are not only supported to reach their academic potential, but also given opportunities to experience the life-changing presence of a God who deeply loves them.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
