Aspire Awards Evening Celebrates Student Excellence

St Stephen’s Catholic College is proud to congratulate several outstanding students who were recognised at the Business Liaison Association (BLA) Aspire Awards Evening, held at CPAC.

These awards celebrate excellence across a range of academic and public speaking competitions, highlighting the talent, dedication and achievement of students from across the region.

Congratulations to the following award recipients:

• Claire Bateman - First Place, Department of Education Far North Literary Competition (Junior Category)
• Thomas Fenner - Encouragement Award, Department of Education Far North Literary Competition (Senior Category)
• Cara Hall-Matthews - First Place, Mario Calanna North Queensland Public Speaking Competition (Senior Category)
• Zebedee Knighton - First Place, Mario Calanna North Queensland Public Speaking Competition (Middle Years Category)
• Rachel Montgomery - Runner-Up, Mario Calanna North Queensland Public Speaking Competition (Junior Category)

These achievements are a testament to the hard work, perseverance and talent of our students, as well as the support and encouragement provided by their teachers and families.

A sincere thank you to the staff members who have guided and supported these students throughout their preparation and participation in these prestigious competitions.
