Book Week: A Symphony of Stories

The highlight of Term 3 was undoubtedly Book Week, and what a spectacular celebration it was. Our students and staff embraced the theme Symphony of Stories with enthusiasm, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.

Cake Decorating Competition

Students and staff produced extraordinary creations — from character-themed cakes to elaborate literary landscapes.

Literature & Music Kahoot

Written by Jem and Grace, this Kahoot was a fierce battle of wits, trivia, musical and literature knowledge.

Jam in the Junction

Students showcased their musical talents in a special Book Week edition of Jam in the Junction, aligning beautifully with the theme Symphony of Stories. Performances ranged from soulful vocals to instrumental brilliance, creating a vibrant atmosphere outside the library.

Scavenger Hunt

The library was buzzing as students raced to solve clues hidden among shelves, displays, and reading nooks. It was fast-paced, competitive, chaotic and full of laughter.

Book Parade

To close the week, the Book Parade brought colour, creativity, and plenty of laughter. Year 12 students and staff truly outdid themselves — costumes ranged from classic characters to modern favourites, with remarkable attention to detail. A heartfelt thank you to all students and staff who participated throughout Book Week. Your enthusiasm made the week unforgettable. A special thank you to the Academic and Cultural Captains for their leadership and energy, and to Mrs Assenheim for her invaluable behind-the-scenes support.
