2026 Australian Geography Competition

This year, Geography students from St Stephen’s Catholic College put their geographical knowledge and skills to the test in the 2026 Australian Geography Competition, competing against more than 47,000 students from over 600 schools across Australia.

The competition provided an excellent opportunity for students to benchmark their understanding of geographical concepts against their peers nationwide. We are incredibly proud of the commitment and dedication shown by our participants.

Our geographers achieved outstanding results, earning one High Distinction, two Distinctions, and one Credit. Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding performance and for representing the College with excellence:

• Daniel Ruppin (Year 7) – High Distinction
• Ching Dang (Year 9) – Credit
• Finnegan Dowling (Year 9) – Distinction
• Daniel Falvo (Year 10) – Distinction
