Principal's Message

Dear Parents and carers,
Thank you
This is the last week of Term One 2026. Thank you to my dedicated staff who are continuously seeking improvement in all areas of school life, especially caring and supporting your children with their learning to be the best people they can be.
A very special thanks to each of you (parents and carers) for your continued support and dedication to our school community. Your involvement, encouragement, and commitment make such a positive difference to our students and their learning experiences. I am grateful for the strong partnership we share, and I look forward to what we will achieve together for the rest of the year.
A big thank you to all the students for a fantastic term. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and positive attitude have made it truly special. Thank you to all the students who bring St. Fidelis School to life.
A very happy and Holy Easter to you and all your families, and I look forward to a productive term of learning in Term Two.
A message from Fr Brendan and Fr Tien: Holy Week & Easter at BMCC
As we enter the holiest and most grace‑filled days of the Christian year, we invite you to journey with us through Holy Week and celebrate the joy of Easter across our BMCC parish communities. These days draw us deeply into the mystery of Christ’s love: His passion, death, and triumphant resurrection.
Whether you come every week, haven’t been in a while, or are simply seeking a moment of peace, you are truly welcome. Holy Week is a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with God and with one another.

Trivia Night - THE GREAT AUSSIE ICON
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our wonderful parent community for attending and supporting the recent Trivia Night. It was fantastic to see so many families come together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy the evening. A special thank you goes to our dedicated Parents and Friends Committee for their hard work and organisation in making the event such a success. Your time, effort, and commitment are truly appreciated, and it was a memorable night for all involved. We look forward to many more opportunities to come together as a community.
Congratulations to the Dickinson Family
The Dickinson family set a goal to swim 42km over the month of February to raise money for the Starlight Foundation (kids in hospital). As a family, they headed to the pool at least 3x per week, before and after extracurricular activities, and said no to play dates on weekends to head to the pool and do the laps. They got there with their last swim on Feb 27 - followed by dinner at the pub! So far they have raised $780, above their target of $600!
Here is a rundown of their efforts:
Xavier 12.9km 516laps , Asha 10.85km 434laps , Jude 8.275km 331laps ,Lennox 2.3km 87 laps, Chris 10.1km 404laps =44.425km
Morning Drop Off
A gentle reminder that classes begin promptly at 8:50 am. To support a smooth start to the day and help develop the children’s independence, we ask that parents please say goodbye at the door and avoid lingering in the classroom in the mornings. Thank you for your support.
Term Two - begins Monday, April 20th at 8:50 am.
The winter uniform may now be worn at the beginning of term two. However, due to Melbourne’s unpredictable weather patterns, there will be a two-week transition period during which both summer and winter uniforms may be worn. From Monday, May 11, all students are required to wear the winter uniform.
Enjoy your holidays and a very Happy and Holy Easter with your loved ones.
Kind Regards
Manuela
