Student Wellbeing

A Wellbeing Wrap on Term 1

As we come to the end of Term 1, we are incredibly proud of the way our students have engaged in developing their wellbeing, building positive relationships, and living out our school values of kindness, respect, and inclusion.

Throughout the term, students participated in a range of meaningful experiences that supported their social and emotional growth. Our Harmony Week and Peace Pole learning encouraged students to reflect on peace, belonging, and how they can contribute to a positive community. Students across the school explored these concepts in age-appropriate ways, and it has been wonderful to see them put these values into action.

Students also engaged in Kids Helpline incursions, where they learnt valuable strategies for managing emotions, seeking support, and building resilience. These sessions complemented our ongoing work with The Resilience Project, where students continue to develop skills in Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness.

Across the school, wellbeing has been embedded through initiatives such as Zones of RegulationClass Charters, and Social and Emotional Wellbeing Surveys, allowing us to support students in building emotional awareness, strengthening relationships, and feeling a strong sense of belonging.

Looking ahead to Term 2, we are excited to continue building on this work by introducing our GEM Leaders, further empowering students to take an active role in promoting wellbeing across the school. This is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening a whole-school approach to wellbeing throughout 2026.

We are grateful for the strong partnership between school and home in supporting each child to feel safe, confident, and connected.

As we head into the Easter break, we encourage families to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy special moments together.

Wishing all families a safe, happy, and peaceful Easter.
