Merimbula Jazz Festival
Now that the Autumn Concert is over, the music department is in full swing rehearsing for the next big events. The swing band is getting ready for the Merimbula Jazz festival on the June long weekend. If you are looking for something to do on the long weekend and love music check out the site below. East Gippsland Music Festival Update
All other ensembles are rehearsing for the East Gippsland Music Festival in the last week of term. Each ensemble is learning three or four pieces which will be rehearsed and performed with other music students from our district. A different ensemble will rehearse each day in Orbost. Our students will be bussed there each day. The festival culminates with a Gala concert on the Thursday night. Put this date in your diary and keep eyes posted for the Compass event when it is published.

Classroom Music
