Year 12 Report

It is hard to believe that 2026 is already drawing to a close for our Year 12 students! As they approach the end of their secondary schooling, we are incredibly proud of the growth, resilience, and achievements they have demonstrated throughout the year.

Soon, our students will embark on exciting new adventures. Some will pursue further education at university or TAFE, while others will begin their journey into the workforce. Whatever pathway they choose, we wish them every success and hope they look back on their time at Koo Wee Rup Secondary College with pride and fond memories.

This is an especially busy and important time for our students. Many are finalising their VTAC, SEAS and scholarship applications, while others are applying for short courses or employment. Alongside these commitments, students are studying for exams, completing ALATs, and preparing presentations. We encourage parents and carers to continue supporting their students during this final stage of their Year 12 journey.

Although Term 4 is short, it is essential that students continue to attend school regularly and make the most of every remaining opportunity to complete their studies successfully. Students are also expected to wear the full school uniform until their final day of school, including throughout the exam period for those undertaking exams.

It was fantastic to see our Year 12 students getting involved in the recent Year 12 vs Staff netball competition. Unfortunately for the students, the staff came away with the win! We look forward to seeing whether the students can claim victory in the final competition, volleyball, which will be held in Term 4.

As we look towards the final weeks of the year, we encourage our students to stay focused, support one another, and celebrate the progress they have made. We look forward to sharing these final milestones with them and their families.
