Year 10 VPP Program Work Experience 2026
This term, our Year 10 VPP students have been given further opportunities to attend work experience with various industries. As part of the VPP program, our students are wanting more hands-on experience to prepare them for their pathways into VCE VM for 2027. By connecting students with employers and industry, we are encouraging further employment, education, and School Based Traineeship and Apprenticeship (SBATs) opportunities. Well done to our Year 10 VPP students for their commitment and participation in the Work Experience Program 2026.
Hands on Learning (HoL) Community Participants 2026
The Careers Team would like to extend their appreciation to Mr James Barr and the HoL students who have constructed a VET Electrotechnology sand pit near the sanctuary for the 2nd year VET Electrotechnology students to complete their qualification. Thank you for supporting your peers for success!

What is happening in Careers Term 3
It has been a very busy term for the Careers Office. The Careers Team has been meeting with families to discuss Koo Wee Rup Secondary College programs for Subject Selection 2027, including VCE subjects, the VCE VM program, and VET course selection. We have supported the Year 10 VPP program with their Work Experience Program, Year 9 students with the Holmesglen VET Taster Program, Year 12 VTAC pathway counseling, and Year 11 and 12 VCE VM students with the Structured Work Placement Program. The Careers Team is available for students in years 7-12 to explore careers and pathways, and we invite students to visit the Careers Office during recess or lunchtime to book an appointment for a counseling session.
