Road Closure Notice: Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard and Airfield Road

Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard and Airfield Road will be closed to all vehicle traffic from Tuesday 15 September 2026 until late November 2026, as part of the Berwick Education Precinct Subdivision Project Road upgrade works.

Vehicle Access

From 15 September, all vehicle access to and from Nossal will be via:

• Venture Drive
• Intrepid Street
• Enterprise Avenue

There will be no access to Nossal via the Clyde Road/Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard intersection.

A new temporary student drop off area has been constructed.

We encourage families to allow extra time when dropping off or collecting students during this period, and to familiarise themselves with the new route in advance. Please ensure you follow the directions of signage and traffic controllers.

Pedestrian Access

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works via the northern footpath along Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard, with temporary signed detours where required. As a result, there will be no impact on students travelling to school by public transport.

Designated area for student drop-off and pick-up zone

For the safety of students, families and pedestrians, the carpark is not to be used for student drop off or pick up. Please ensure you use the designated drop-off and pick-up area at all times.

All families are also reminded to follow the directions provided by traffic signage and traffic controllers while entering and leaving the school precinct.
