Student Leadership

Attitudes to School Survey (ATOSS)
Students in Years 4–9 will soon participate in the annual Attitudes to School Survey (ATOSS). This survey provides students with an opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences about school, including areas such as learning, wellbeing, relationships and school connectedness. Teachers have begun supporting preparations for the survey by helping students understand the purpose of the questions and encouraging thoughtful, honest responses. The survey provides valuable feedback that helps us better understand student experiences and informs future school improvement initiatives.
JSC New Student Tours
Our Junior School Council representatives have begun supporting new students by conducting school tours. This initiative helps new students feel welcomed and connected to the Saltwater community while providing our student leaders with valuable opportunities to develop their communication and leadership skills. We are proud of the way our JSC members have embraced this responsibility and represented our school values.
House Token Competition
Thank you to all students who entered our House Token Design Competition. We were incredibly impressed by the creativity, effort and thoughtful designs submitted. The submission period has now closed, and our House Captains have shortlisted a number of finalists. Students will soon have the opportunity to vote for their favourite designs before the winning tokens are announced and introduced across the school.
House Point Tally Update
The competition between our four houses continues to be incredibly close, with students earning points through demonstrating our school values, positive behaviour and active participation in school life. Keep an eye out for the latest house point updates at assemblies as we move towards the end of the term.
Overall Tally Week 5:
