Wellbeing Report

Staying connected

As the colder weather sets in, it’s important for young people to stay connected, active and engaged in positive wellbeing opportunities within the community. Wyndham Youth Services is offering a wide range of exciting programs and events this winter designed to support young people’s mental health, confidence, friendships and sense of belonging.

Students aged 12–25 are encouraged to have their voice heard by participating in the Wyndham Youth Survey 2026, with the chance to win exciting prizes while helping shape future youth programs and supports. There are also many opportunities to get involved through sports, creative arts, cultural connection programs, social activities and school holiday events including basketball camps, soccer tournaments, futsal, art workshops and the Winter Holiday Action Program.

Families may also be interested in the free counselling support available through Wyndham Youth Services, the many youth groups around our area, as well as welcoming programs such as Culture Konnect, Courtside Basketball, Drop In sessions and the Street Surfer Bus, which provides fun, safe and programs engaging activities for young people across Wyndham. We encourage families to explore the many opportunities available to help young people stay active, connected and supported throughout winter.
