Year 4 Excursion

Our Year 4 students had a fantastic day at the zoo, where they participated in two engaging educational sessions: Habitat Heroes and African Savannah. Students became wildlife investigators, learning about different animal habitats, how animals survive in their environments, and the important role we all play in protecting wildlife. 

One of the highlights of the day was getting up close to a friendly lizard and having the opportunity to gently pat it! 

After the lessons, students enjoyed exploring the zoo with their classmates and parent helpers, discovering a variety of animals and sharing lots of excitement along the way. It was a fun-filled day of learning and adventure.
