To celebrate NAIDOC Week,our students learned about the six Noongar seasons and how the Noongar people carefully observe changes in plants, animals and the environment to understand the seasonal cycle.

As we celebrate the rich knowledge and wisdom of First Nations people, students worked with their buddies to braid bracelets using colours that represented the Noongar seasons, connecting with and honouring this cultural knowledge.

Our classrooms celebrated NAIDOC Week by exploring and honouring the world’s oldest living culture through a variety of learning experiences. Students learnt about the rich histories, cultures, achievements and contributions of First Nations peoples.
