Dear Parents and Caregivers

Welcome Back!

It is great to have everyone back at St Helena's for what is turning into an action-packed Term 3! The students and staff have returned with lots of energy for the teaching and learning, as well as extra-curricular events throughout the term. We have also welcomed some new students and families across the school to start the term. I know that you will all love being at SHCPS as much as we all do!  I encourage everyone to take the time to read through the eNewsletter and enjoy reading about and looking at the photos of so many events that have been happening at St Helena's. We have so much to be grateful for on our student's learning journey!

MacKillop Mass

Looking forward to celebrating the life of St Mary MacKillop of the Cross, one of our Faction Patron Saints, on Tuesday 4 August at 11:15am. All Welcome!

Thank you Mr Mark McCormack for your efforts in preparing the students. Thanks also to Mrs Dannielle Zanetti for assisting on the day, and to all the parents and caregivers who came along on the day to support our team and school!

The Excitement of the Performing Arts

All the best to our Liturgical Dance students who will be performing in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival next Wednesday 5 August. Thank you Miss Kate O'Callaghan for preparing the students and to all who have assisted along the way.

P&F

Thank you to the P&F for their kind donation towards the purchase of one of the two new water fountains around the school with bottle fillers attached. We are very appreciative of the efforts on the P&F for their 'friend raising' and 'fund raising' efforts at St Helena's. Thanks again to our amazing committee and all those that put their hand up to help out. We are looking forward to our next P&F event coming up with the Family Movie Night on Friday 14 August. Don't forget to purchase your tickets!
