Aussie of the Month

Congratulations to Miyom on being the Aussie of the Month for June!

Miyom supports his peers, encourages others to participate, and helps create a classroom environment where everyone feels capable and valued. He has a warm, gentle nature which makes him a steady source of kindness and encouragement. He always shows compassion for others, offers help without being asked, and contributes positively to the wellbeing of those around him. Miyom demonstrates respect in all interactions—towards himself, his classmates, his teachers, and the learning environment. He celebrates differences and make others feel welcome.

Miyom is a friendly, respectful class member who demonstrates an outstanding work ethic. He takes great pride in his achievements and leads with care. Miyom is an excellent problem solver in and out of the class and is always willing to share his gifts and talents with others. He is a thoughtful contributor to all activities and has a positive attitude towards all aspects of school life. Miyom takes advantage of every opportunity to extend his knowledge and skills such as in Math Enrichment group and ExACT. He seeks advice to develop his skills further. 

Miyom has excellent communication skills and is well respected by both staff and students. Overall he is a great role model for our school community.
