Year 2 Assembly

In Term 2, the Year 2 students performed an assembly based on what they had learnt in Humanities and Social Science. The students proudly showcased their learning in Geography by singing the Continents Song and sharing interesting facts about the seven continents. Through their confident presentations, they demonstrated a growing understanding of the different places, people and environments that make up our world.

In History, the students explored the story of Optus Stadium and discovered what was located on the site before the stadium was built. They shared a recount of their recent excursion, which helped consolidate their learning and provided a real-world connection to their studies. To add to the excitement, students came dressed in jerseys representing their favourite sporting teams that play at Optus Stadium. The Year 2 students should be commended for their enthusiasm, confidence and excellent efforts in delivering an engaging and informative assembly.
